"From Folk to Classical 1" ist eine außergewöhnliche Sammlung von dreißig Arrangements für klassische Gitarre von Paul Coles. Viele allerorts beliebte Stücke sind hier enthalten - sogar manche, die man sich bis jetzt nicht für Gitarre vorstellen konnte, wie z.B. "In the Hall of the Mountain King" und "Three little Maids from School". Aber sie funktionieren alle!
Auch traditionelle Folk-Nummern wie "Sweet Molly Malone" und "Skye Boat Song" sind in dieser Sammlung mit dabei.
Die Arrangements sind für fortgeschrittene Spieler, für die Paul Coles Fingersatzvorschläge für die rechte und linke Hand erarbeitet hat.
Bevor 2018 "From Folk to Classical 2" erscheinen wird, können sich alle Interessenten in der Zwischenzeit an Paul Coles "26 Melodic Studies" und "Momentos Españoles" begeistern lassen.
